Dark Light
Beautiful Russula
Russula pulchra

This is another mushroom that I am not 100% sure of the identification. It’s possible this is actually Russula flavisiccans. So if you have any thoughts/corrections or edits, please comment below!

Cap is scarlet to pinkish red, with occasional shallow depression in the center. Stem is sometimes flushed with pink. The spore print is creamy. When reaching maturity the caps develop cracks.

Size: Stem 3-7 cm long, Cap 5-10 cm
Family: Russulaceae
Habitat: Mycorrhizal with oaks, beech, and other hardwoods.

Is it a mushroom, or is it a hedgehog clinging to a tree? Well, in this photo is might be either, on a counter top.
