Dark Light
Carolina Geranium
Geranium carolinianum

I don’t (yet) have a photo of this flowering, so that’s pretty important to get. However in general, this plant in the geranium family has light pink – lavender flowers. Because it easily spreads and can smother more delicate plants, some people consider it invasive or a weed.

Alternate Names: Wild Geranium, Carolina Cranesbill
Size: 0'-1' tall
Family: Geraniaceae (Geranium Family)
Habitat: Gravelly to clay soils, sun to part shade.
Identifiers: Leaves are palmately five-parted, these divisions being cleft or lobed again. Five-petaled, pale pink or white flowers occur in loose terminal clusters. Blooms March-July.
